Featuring intricate bun bunan work that demands 5–7 days of meticulous craftsmanship by our artisans, our Eleanor earrings exude a timeless elegance that transcends fleeting trends. The combination of ethically sourced mabe pearls masterfully set in sustainable gold vermeil further enhances their allure, making them a symbol of refined sophistication.

Materials & Details

  • Materials: Locally sourced mabe pearls and gold vermeil (925 recycled sterling silver with 2.5 microns of 18kt gold plating).
  • Stamping: Stamped on the back with "925" and "Truvai."
  • Size: 68 mm long, 40 mm wide.
  • Each piece is handmade, and slight variations may occur from piece to piece. Our jewelry features a combination of natural pearls and gemstones, each with its own distinctive characteristics. Natural variations in color, size, shape, and texture are inherent in both pearls and gemstones. This is part of the handmade process, adding to the uniqueness and charm of each item.

Story, Sustainability & Impact

This piece was designed in Canada and handmade by master artisans over a 5–7 day period in Celuk Village, Bali, Indonesia. This collection helps preserve the dying art of handmade traditional Balinese techniques, which have been passed down through generations. It offers artisans a viable income from their craft, enabling them to continue supporting their families. The use of recycled silver protects our environment by reducing CO2 emissions associated with waste and mining, while our mabe pearls support small-scale farmers on the island of Lombok.
